Caroline Fairchild is an award-winning journalist, researcher and editorial leader focused on leadership and the future of work. . She is the founder of On New Terms Media, an executive advisory and media practice built on a specific idea: the playbook for leadership is changing, and leaders are renegotiating the terms of their work. She helps founders, CEOs, and board directors turn decades of expertise into a signature point of view, building the frameworks, bylines, talks, and platforms that carry a leader's ideas into the world.
Prior to launching ONTM, she led strategy as Editor in Chief for Lean In's original research, educational programs and editorial efforts, always with a focus on advancing women and creating a more equitable world. For years, she also co-authored Women in the Workplace, the largest study on the state of women in corporate America.
Prior to Lean In, Caroline was Editor at Large at LinkedIn where she oversaw coverage and reported on the prominent voices, trends and issues facing women in the workplace. She is also the founder of Fortune's Most Powerful Women newsletter (formerly The Broadsheet), a daily read on women leaders.
Named one of Forbes 30 Under 30's brightest young entrepreneurs, innovators and game changers in media, she is a sought-after leadership and future of work expert in outlets including CBS This Morning, CNBC, CNN and Yahoo! Finance. She is also a member of the board of visitors for Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, where she advises the school on how best to prepare the next generation of women business leaders.
